SuSTaCEM

Reduce the environmental footprint of construction with new Low Carbon Cements is a priority in the EU Strategy on Standardisation and must be dealt with as quickly as possible. To facilitate large-scale low-carbon transition, all promising solutions of common interest will be assessed.

The project is divided in Work Packages (WP) and will cover: 

• WP 2: Cooperation to identify promising new constituents for cements, hydraulic road binders & building limes;
• WP 3: Cooperation to further investigate materials coming from Construction & Demolition wastes to be used as new constituents;
• WP 4: Development of an approach to facilitate the introduction of new or revised products standards in application standards (like concrete standard) across Europe.
